Does the Gasnag tool exist today?
No. As of now, no scanning tool, dataset pipeline, or gas-comparison engine has been implemented. What exists is a concept and a token associated with that concept. Any future tool is proposed or planned only.
What would the tool do if it were built?
The plan is a free web page where you paste a wallet address or transaction hash and see a list of past transactions flagged as likely overpaid on gas, ranked by amount wasted, compared against historical base fee at each block. This remains a planned mechanism, not a working feature.
Does holding GNAG give me access to savings, refunds, or a share of fees?
No. GNAG has no equity, revenue share, or legal claim on any past or future gas savings. It is a speculative, cultural token associated with an idea, not a financial instrument tied to product revenue.
Will the tool require a wallet connection or signup?
The current design direction avoids wallet connects and signups entirely — a simple paste-and-see flow is the goal. This is a planned design choice, not a built feature, and could change before (or if) anything ships.
Which blockchains would this cover?
The concept targets EVM-compatible chains broadly, since gas and base-fee mechanics are broadly similar across them. No chain coverage, data integration, or explorer partnership currently exists; multi-chain and L2/rollup comparison modes are listed only as possible future roadmap items.
Is this an investment?
No. Gasnag is described here as a speculative, exploratory cultural token tied to an unbuilt idea. It carries no promise of profit, adoption, liquidity, or guaranteed gas savings, and nothing here is investment advice.
